- Reduce your "jack-rabbit" starts
- Drive 60 miles per hour (mph) or less. Every five miles per hour over 60 costs you 20 to 30 extra cents per gallon.
- Keep your vehicle tuned and the tires properly inflated.
- Don't idle. You get 0 miles per gallon when idling.
